The submission process for Reflections is now closed. Thank you to all the artists who submitted their work. Successful artists will be notified by 2nd November and completed work should be delivered to Mile End Pavilion between 10am and 12 noon on Monday 14th Movember. The Private view is on Friday 18th November from 6 - 9 pm.

Work in any media is welcomed. Open to 2nd or 3rd year BA, MA or Doctorate students.

The Mile End Pavilion is an exciting contemporary space and the curators encourage submissions from artists who intend to make site-specific work as well as work that is already completed.

Deadline for submissions - Friday 28th October 2011

Artists will need to complete an application form, pay a non-refundable £5 submission fee, and provide up to 3 digital images of any completed works, or detailed sketches if submitting proposed work.

Terms and Conditions for Reflections at Mile End Pavilion

1) The administration fee for submission is £5.00 per entry – each entry can comprise of up to two works. Artists can submit multiple entries at £5 per entry, if they wish to submit more than two works.

2) Submissions must include payment, a fully completed application form, and images of completed works or detailed annotated drawings of proposed works. Submissions may be made online or by emailing information to
philippa.edwards@theworldinoureyes.com

3) The selection panel will comprise of the 4 partners involved in 4Art. Philippa Edwards, Tafari Grant, Valeriya Nyamtsova-Georgieva, Carolina Piteira.

4) Successful artists will be advised of the selection panel’s decision by Wednesday 2nd November 2011.

5) Each artist is to be responsible for insuring their own work.

6) Each artist must provide their own equipment for display including plinths.

7) Each artist is responsible for delivering and collecting their work on the dates and times given. Failure to comply with this condition could result in exclusion from the exhibition, and may incur further charges.

8) Works submitted to the Exhibition may be used on promotional materials and marketing media by the exhibition organisers. Please note the option to opt out of this on the application form. Work remains the property of the artist at all times.

9) Work from any discipline in any media can be submitted. Proposals for site-specific work are encouraged.

10) The application fee is payable before the artist can be considered for the exhibition. Payment of this fee does not guarantee the artist a place in the exhibition and is non-refundable.

DEADLINES:-

1) Friday 28^th October 8pm Application fee and completed application form and images should be retuned to the organisers.

2) Wednesday 2nd November 8pm Successful applicants will be notified of their selection.

3) Monday 14^th November 10am - 12 noon Work should be delivered to the gallery, Mile End Pavilion, Clinton Road, London E3 4QY. Limited parking will be available.

4) Friday 18^th November 6-9pm Private view

5) Tuesday 22nd November between 11am - 1pm Work to be removed from the gallery.
